   Artist Cindy Male is an art educator in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. She currently works at Manor School and during the summer is an adjunct at the University of South Carolina Beaufort. She holds private classes and group workshops in both locations. Cindy also currently teaches yoga at Carambola Resort, St. Croix, USVI on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:00 pm. She teaches at her new studio on North Shore Road on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm and Saturdays at 8:30 am. The new studio showroom currently is displaying the works of Jamila Hammad, Leslie Cramer and Cindy Male. The new Taino jewelry is also available.

I do many one of a kind digital fabric designs for site-specific interior and exterior environments. Examples below. See more at

   "Home is Where the Heart Is," a collaborative effort executed with sculptor Dan Wilson, is a stabile that rotates as the wind catches the fabric. This piece was exhibited at St. George Botanical Gardens, St. Croix, USVI.

   Bridal Expo at Hibiscus Beach Resort, 2006. Besides shows, the artist hosts workshops for learning the art of fabric design in the Hilton Head Island and the St. Croix Island areas.

    At right is a sushi bar in an almond tree overlooking the Christiansted Harbor in St. Croix, USVI. The cushions are images I drew and translated into digital designs for printing. After water and UV ray proofing the work, they make a nice addition to Goldsmith Brian Bishop's treetop, mahogany, sushi bar.
